Job description
We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join a high-profile programme developing next-generation directed energy systems for air defence. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project at the forefront of UK defence innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse system requirements and functional interfaces
- Produce detailed functional design documentation
- Conduct system design trade studies and assess impacts of proposed changes
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Support change management and system evolution
- Contribute to planning and documentation across the programme lifecycle
Requirements
- Background in systems engineering (requirements, design, analysis)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Motivated, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality work
