Job description
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Network Field Engineer to support and maintain our network infrastructure across multiple healthcare sites. You'll be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Cisco network hardware, ensuring seamless network services for staff and patients across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas., * Install and configure Cisco networking equipment (switches, routers, access points).
- Provide on-site support for network issues and service requests.
- Diagnose and resolve network faults; assist with upgrades and improvements.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and support security initiatives., * How many years of experience do you have with network support and troubleshooting, specifically using Cisco technologies (e.g., switches, routers, wireless access points)?
- Do you hold any Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA)?
- Have you worked in healthcare IT, particularly supporting network infrastructure in clinical or hospital settings?
- Do you have a full UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel between Trust locations? How comfortable are you with travelling to different sites for on-site support?
- When would you be available to start?
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Computer networking?, * Strong experience with Cisco technologies (CCNA preferred).
- Knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
- Basic server configuration skills (training provided).
- Full UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience with VoIP and telephony systems.
- Previous healthcare IT experience.

Pay: £20.88-£23.82 per hour
