Job description
- Designing, developing and improving dashboards and analytics products in Power BI
- Building and/or developing semantic models from inception to support structured, scalable reporting
- Using SQL to extract, transform and analyse data from multiple systems
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insight
- Collaborating with data teams and frontline business functions to support real operational and commercial decision-making
- Presenting analysis clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

This role is ideal for an early- mid career BI Analyst (around two years' experience) looking to step into a more data-mature environment, where you'll work with richer datasets and take on greater ownership in delivering insight that drives business performance and improves operational efficiency., * Around two years' experience in a BI Analyst or Data Analyst role
- Strong capability in Power BI (including DAX and data modelling best practice)
- Experience building semantic models from scratch (or substantial exposure and ready to step up)
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Confident communicator who can build relationships and influence through insight
- Curious, proactive and keen to develop further within business intelligence and analytics
Desirable (not essential):
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based analytics platforms
Location: Midlands, hybrid working (typically 2-3 days per week in the office)
