Job description
The key purpose of this role is to support the Intranet & Knowledge Systems Executive in the day-to-day operational management of Osborne Clarke's intranet, ensuring it remains a dynamic and vital hub for knowledge and communication across all Osborne Clarke offices., * Content Management and Editing: Provides editing support to Content Editors, troubleshooting and giving expert advice; assists in training and advising existing and new Content Editors; maintains up-to-date list of content owners and editors; triages requests for content, structure or permissions changes.
- Site Management and Maintenance: Supports the creation of analytics reports of intranet usage; assists in maintaining site map; helps create new sites as approved by the Head of Knowledge Management; supports the Intranet & Knowledge Systems Executive to ensure the system is regularly maintained.
- Usability and User Experience: Supports the Intranet & Knowledge Systems Executive in significant page redesigns; focuses on usability of intranet, ensuring good user experience (UX); liaises with Content Editors to ensure content is well maintained to meet users' needs.
- Meeting administration support: Provides support in scheduling meetings, minute taking and drafting reports.
- Project management support: Provides support to the Intranet & Knowledge Systems Executive in coordination of Knowledge initiatives.
- Other Knowledge Systems administration support: Provides support in scheduling meetings, minute taking and drafting reports for OC's other Knowledge Systems (for example, the Document Automation system Contract Express).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Usability?, You will be enthusiastic and motivated, with a proactive approach to work and a willingness to take initiative, contribute ideas and put in the effort needed to deliver high-quality results. You will also need:
- Experience of editing in SharePoint or similar content management system.
- Ability to assist in training and advising Content Editors.
- Administrative-level experience of maintaining a system (e.g. keeping it up-to-date, ensuring a good structure).
- Team player who actively shares knowledge with colleagues, lends support to others, and considers the impact of their actions on others.
- Proactive in agreeing priorities, identifying the appropriate level of importance/urgency for projects.
- Demonstrates a genuine eagerness to learn, develop new skills and continuously improve performance.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to work within tight timeframes, adapt to changing priorities and manage own workload.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on the target audience.
- Demonstrates an ability to think from a user perspective, eager to develop and apply user-centred design principles.
- Good relationship building, stakeholder management and communication skills, able to collaborate and interact with people across geographies.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint and Excel (sorting, extracting and organising data)
