We're a growing, family-run IT company based in Norwich, proud to support local businesses with reliable and responsive IT services.
We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused IT Support Engineer who enjoys solving problems, working directly with local businesses, and contributing to a collaborative team that values customer service and taking ownership of their work.
You'll get ongoing training, support with certifications, and opportunities to move into more senior roles as the business continues to grow.
No two days are the same - one day you might be troubleshooting remotely in the office, the next you're onsite installing new hardware or improving a customer's network.
The Role Entails:
- Answering telephone calls and emails from customers reporting IT issues.
- Logging support issues on our CRM Platform.
- Providing 1st line support to clients by resolving IT issues using Remote Desktop control software.
- Troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of technical issues efficiently and professionally
- Performing regular checks of customer's IT infrastructures to ensure their systems are proactively managed therefore preventing problems before they occur.
- Carrying out on-site visits to install servers or new IT equipment.
- Assisting with network infrastructure cabling and Wifi/CCTV installations.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * Experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and router/switch configuration.
- Experience adding Windows 11 workstations to domains and setting up or configuring printers.
- The ability to install network cabling neatly and safely, both internally and externally.
- The ability to terminate network cables correctly in faceplates and RJ45 ends.
- A genuine enjoyment of problem-solving and diagnosing technical issues.
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- A positive, team-focused attitude.
- A UK driving licence for travel locally to customer sites (company vehicle provided).
- The ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
- Ambition to learn, progress, and grow with the company.

Please Note:
- This is NOT a working from home role - you'll be office-based with regular local site visits.
- Salary is dependent on experience £26k-£30k/year.
