Job description

We're partnering with a leading UK organisation to find experienced Azure DevOps Engineers to support major transformation projects across the legal and professional services sectors.

This fully remote contract offers the opportunity to work on large-scale Azure environments - modernising infrastructure, embedding automation, and driving cloud adoption in highly regulated, enterprise settings.

️ What you'll do

You'll design, build, and automate Azure infrastructure using modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code. Working across cloud, security, and application teams, you'll help deliver secure, scalable, and well-governed Azure environments that underpin business-critical operations.

You'll take ownership of CI/CD delivery, Terraform deployments, and platform modernisation, ensuring consistency, compliance, and performance across environments.

What you'll work with

  • Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, and GitHub Actions for IaC and CI/CD
  • Azure Services: App Service, Functions, AKS, Networking, and PaaS modernisation
  • Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity integration
  • Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, and Python
  • Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Governance & Security: Policy-as-Code, Zero Trust, and CAF-aligned Landing Zones

Requirements

  • Strong background in Azure cloud engineering and DevOps delivery
  • Proven experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and automation at scale
  • Confident working with hybrid identity, networking, and security controls
  • Familiarity with legal or professional services environments preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary technical teams
