Job description
Parico is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to work on exciting and dynamic projects who prospers against the challenge of working closely with a small business to solve complex and challenging problems across the Public Sector landscape. You'll have the freedoms to be truly innovative to roll up your sleeves, get stuck into the detail of systems, and generally do what it takes to achieve the successful delivery of incredible technical solutions to our customer's complex problems.
You will manage teams developing greenfield IT systems, services and software for our clients, using cloud services and on-premise infrastructure components.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading end-to-end project planning and execution, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Managing resources and budgets effectively, including personnel, equipment, and financials, with corrective actions as needed
- Tracking project performance using KPIs, adjusting plans to ensure timely and successful delivery, adjusting plans to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Serving as the liaison between Technology, Business, and customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates through reports and presentations
- Ensuring documentation is complete and current, supporting transparency and project governance
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, * Extensive IT project management experience, including delivery of large-scale projects with governance oversight
- Proven success under tight deadlines, communicating effectively with stakeholders up to CEO level
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to new challenges
- Agile team contributor, with hands-on experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored to technical and executive audiences
- Sector expertise in UK Defence, including Army, Air Force, or Royal Navy environments is advantageous
- You'll hold Prince 2 Practitioner, APM Project Management Qualification, ISEB Certificate in Project Management or equivalent
