Job description

Parico is seeking an IT Asset Manager who is smart, curious and thrives on tackling complex challenges across the Public Sector. Working within a small, agile team, you'll have the freedom to innovate, dive into the detail of systems and design effective processes that support exceptional technical outcomes for our customers. In this role, you'll take full ownership of the IT Asset Management lifecycle, ensuring hardware, software and configuration items are controlled, tracked and managed to a high standard.

You'll gain rapid exposure to a broad range of infrastructure technologies, benefitting from hands-on project involvement and collaboration with experienced engineers. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and maintaining the IT Asset Management process, ensuring it aligns with ITIL best practices and supports reliable service delivery
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of all assets, ensuring accurate tracking and strong control of hardware, software, and configuration items
  • Carrying out scheduled audits to keep asset data accurate, compliant and up to date
  • Ensuring new assets are correctly tagged, documented and added to tracking systems for smooth onboarding
  • Delivering clear reports that highlight asset status, usage, compliance, and lifecycle trends

Requirements

Do you have experience in Jira?, * You'll be experienced with IT Asset Management or Service Asset Configuration Management (SACM) within mature ITIL environments

  • Basic IT hardware and software knowledge, including the ability to identify between different IT components and familiarity with tools such as JIRA Service Management
  • Able to convey information effectively to stakeholders at all levels and highly organised to deliver on time
  • Comfortable taking on new challenges, highly adaptable, calm and professional under pressure
  • Bonus points if you have experience of working within Defence, * Due to the nature of the work, this role requires Sole UK nationals eligible. Can you confirm if you are Sole UK national?
