Job description

We specialise in sourcing and globally supplying an extensive range across all technology brands., · Rigorous testing of IT equipment · Identification and numbering of individual parts · Recording of specifications and quality grading of various types of IT and lifestyle products · Accurate data recording using Excel - products received, tested and erased · Data erasure from computers, servers, mobile phones, printers etc. · Clearing data on dead devices · Extracting circuit boards, hard drives and other units to a reverse bill of saleable parts · Database stocking of individual parts, complete working parts and faulty/incomplete units.

Requirements

Excel, Grading, Testing, We are looking for a talented, motivated and experienced IT Engineer to help us efficiently and effectively harvest (tear-down/split) various items from a variety of devices - laptops, desktops, All-In-Ones and mobile devices, as well as printers, servers and monitors. The successful candidate will be someone with a strong work-ethic, attention to detail and a willingness to contribute ideas to a growing business. To successfully work at Rapidsource, you need to be adaptable, flexible and have a passion for technology.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

· 3 years of experience in hardware repair

SKILLS NEEDED:

· Attention to detail - through testing, recording specifications and grading · Maintaining accurate records on Excel · Working knowledge of parts and units - ability to identify and record parts · Calm and methodical approach to work · Ability to work independently and also as part of a collaborative team, · Experience of using Aiken
