Job description

They're looking for a Data Scientist with strong experience in time-series forecasting to design, build, and deploy real-time models that directly impact trading decisions. You'll be working with complex, high-variance datasets and collaborating closely with traders, engineers, and product teams to turn data into live insights that drive performance in fast-moving energy markets., * Develop and refine time-series forecasting models for energy trading and optimisation

  • Work with real-time, high-volume data streams to deliver actionable insights
  • Partner with traders, data scientists, and product engineers on live trading strategies
  • Build and deploy production-ready ML models that power operational decision-making
  • Continuously improve model accuracy, speed, and scalability

Requirements

  • Strong background in data science, statistics, or applied mathematics (advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven experience with time-series forecasting and real-time data environments
  • Skilled in Python and familiar with cloud-based tools such as GCP and Docker
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset
  • Interest in climate tech and a desire to apply data science to sustainability challenges

Tech Stack: Python, GCP, Docker, Streamlit, Figma (for internal tools)
