Job description

  • Provide support for Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Exchange Online environments.
  • Help deploy, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual server infrastructure.
  • Contribute to projects involving infrastructure upgrades, new site or acquisition integrations, and system migrations.
  • Perform routine activities like creating virtual machines, applying firmware updates, patching systems, and managing backups.
  • Monitor critical infrastructure components (such as firewalls, switches, storage, and backup systems) and address any issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting infrastructure issues, escalating them when necessary.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts i.e. regular tests.

Requirements

From day one, you will be assisting this leading healthcare organisation in a handful of projects including migrations from on-prem to 365 tenants, and migrations from Windows 10 to 11. This is a practical role ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working with diverse technologies, and is eager to expand their skills in infrastructure.

Key Skills required:

  • Windows Server Active Directory, Windows 10-11
  • Administration of Microsoft 365
  • Group Policy (DNS/DHCP)
  • Familiar with virtualisation platforms
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and firewalls
  • Veeam
  • Full UK Drivers licence

Desirable:

  • Modern Workplace products: Intune, Entra
  • Familiarity of VoIP telephony systems
