Job description

As a Workday Systems and Data Analyst, you'll be an integral part of the HR Workday Team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day management and support of Workday and related systems. You'll be the go-to expert for functional and technical support, solving system issues with precision and driving self-service adoption across the organization. Your role will focus on delivering accurate, reliable information through standard and custom reports across all Workday modules.

Key Purpose

  • Deliver expert functional and technical support for Workday systems.
  • Identify and resolve system issues with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Champion self-service adoption across the organization.
  • Act as a trusted techno-functional analyst for HR system projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure employee data is accurate, secure, and accessible., System Support & Maintenance
  • Act as the first point of contact for Workday inbox queries, providing timely and effective support.
  • Manage Workday report requests, inquiries, and issues with confidence and clarity.
  • Track transaction activity and follow up to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and support data structures, business processes, and plans within Workday.
  • Create and execute Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) to streamline processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Workday systems.
  • Support the rollout of annual Workday tasks, such as performance review cycles.
  • Participate in bi-annual Workday release cycles, ensuring updates are implemented seamlessly.
  • Monitor weekly access for new starters to internal and external platforms.

Documentation & Training

  • Share knowledge and provide training to team members, empowering them to use Workday effectively.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, process maps, and a comprehensive document library.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Manage and maintain the global reporting catalog, ensuring reports are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests with precision and speed.
  • Safeguard data integrity for absence and time tracking records.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to understand requirements and recommend best practices.
  • Assist report writers in making minor updates to reports.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of reports, including cataloging, versioning, and deprecation.

Project Support

  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects, contributing your expertise to ensure success.
  • Administer system integrations, both internal and external, with attention to detail.
  • Play a key role in planning and executing Workday updates and releases.

Requirements

Technical Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of Workday HCM functionality and HR processes.
  • Proficiency in Workday Reporting, including creating and maintaining calculated fields.
  • Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst specializing in Workday HCM.
  • Familiarity with Excel is a plus.

Compliance & Data Management

  • Experience in data auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Understanding of GDPR standards and their application in HR systems.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage complex data and processes effectively.
