Job description
- Run our Marketing Customer Database, ensuring data is segmented, cleansed and compliant for multiple Marketing channels.
- Combine multiple sources to assure a 360 view. Join our 1st and 3rd party data to gain practical insights: customer data, prospect data and analytics data
- Deliver optimised datasets to drive prospect acquisition and customer retention & upsell campaigns. Ensuring adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
- Feed into requirements for appropriate platforms and solutions for the housing and analysis of data and improvements across our Data technology ecosystem
- Leverage sophisticated data analysis techniques and algorithms to evolve our segmentation model, to better understand and predict prospect and customer intent and eligibility for targeting
- Be part of a Data Governance Forum, responsible for developing and owning policies to be rolled out internally and assuring alignment to data governance policies and data quality processes, through quality threshold determination, strategic data quality monitoring and longer-term remediation strategies
- Liaise with 3rd party data providers on specific data requirements
- You will lead a small team of data and reporting analysts
Requirements
- Passion for solving business problems with data and ground breaking technology
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Data modelling (Segmentation, Attribution, Churn, Predictive modelling) or similar discipline, knowledge of data mining tools such as Modeller Saas, Python
- Data warehousing experience, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skills. Knowledge on extracting and combining information from different data sources.
- Strong Business Intelligence skills and the ability to bring data to life
- Big data and analytical skills including SQL for enabling large scale data transformation and analysis, across a range of technologies
- Knowledge of data analytics tools, and experience using data platforms and technology: Cloud based platforms e.g. Google Cloud Platform. Data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau (or similar, Datorama), Google Data Studio, GA Cloud based platforms
- Statistical analysis skills to feed decision making
- Critical thinking and problem-solving, using data to solve business challenges
- Management experience
