Job description

We are assisting a leading Digital Transformation Consultancy to support their end-client who are a prominent Government Agency in the healthcare sector in the next phase of a major architecture transformation programme.

This engagement builds upon previous work undertaken to define an Architecture Maturity Roadmap and establish a new Architecture Operating Model.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to help stabilise a team that has undergone significant change, while piloting the newly defined architecture processes and ways of working., * Support the Enterprise Architect in implementing and piloting a new Architecture Operating Model, Governance Model and associated processes.

  • Act as a pathfinder for new architecture ways of working, providing Solution Architecture input into the Medical Information Data Analysis System (MIDAS) project.
  • Deliver all necessary design artefacts and ensure governance approvals are achieved.
  • Support the rollout of architecture maturity improvements and initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor existing and newly appointed Solution Architects, promoting best practice and adherence to agreed architecture standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large, complex organisations (preferably within the UK public sector or healthcare domain), with experience of Government Digital Services (GDS).
  • Ideally Microsoft Certified in Azure and Power Platform.
  • Hands-on experience working with PowerApps and MS Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture frameworks, methodologies and governance processes.
  • Ability to coach and influence technical teams, embedding best practice and maturity improvements.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
