SAP SD Consultant

SAP ERP Sales and Distribution (SD) We are seeking a highly experienced and globally-minded Senior SAP SD Consultant. This pivotal role is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP SD functionalities with a strong focus on indirect taxation e.g. accurate tax determination (SAP, Sovos tax determination, OneSource tax determination) and e-invoicing solutions (SAP DRC, Sovos e-invoicing).The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and a proven track record in translating complex global tax and e-invoicing requirements into practical SAP solutions. This includes gathering detailed business requirements, designing and configuring SAP SD solutions, testing, documentation, and providing post-go-live support.The candidate will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and IT, to deliver integrated and effective solutions that optimize processes, ensure compliance with local and international

regulations.Qualifications:8+ years of progressive experience in SAP SD consulting, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.Hands-on experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant, with a significant and demonstrable focus on indirect tax configuration in SAP (VAT, Sales Tax, GST, Withholding Tax) e.g. SAP tax determination and tax enginesSolid understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other modules (FI, MM, LE, CO, PS).Significant experience in implementing and managing e-invoicing solutions within SAP, covering multiple countries and legal frameworks (e.g., Peppol, specific country mandates).Proven experience in multiple full lifecycle SAP SD implementations, including global rollouts, supporting diverse business units across different regions.Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.Proven track record of working in a global capacity, supporting diverse business units across different regions.Experience working in multicultural teams and adapting to varying business practices and communication styles.Knowledge of ABAP debugging is a plus.
