Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dedicated team at a school in Bexhill-on-Sea. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting school improvement by managing, analysing, and presenting data to help inform decision-making and enhance pupil outcomes.

As our Data Analyst, you will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and administrative teams to ensure that data is accurate, insightful, and effectively used across the school., * Collect, analyse, and interpret school performance data, including attendance, attainment, and progress.

• Maintain and update the school's Management Information System (MIS).
• Produce clear and accurate reports to support leadership and governance meetings.
• Support data returns and statutory reporting requirements.
• Provide training and support to staff on data systems and reporting tools.
• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with GDPR.

Do you have experience in SQL?, We're looking for someone with:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel and data management systems (experience with SIMS, Arbor, or similar MIS preferred).
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Experience working within an educational environment is desirable but not essential - training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
