Job description
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Technician to join our team in an office-based capacity. This role is focused on providing day-to-day IT support to staff. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to handle a wide range of software and hardware challenges., * Provide first-line IT support to internal teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Windows 11 systems.
- Basic networking (routers, connectivity, cabling).
- Printers and office hardware.
- General software and hardware incidents.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Document solutions, processes, and recurring issues.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience in a 1st Line/ Junior IT Support role.
- Basic understanding of routers, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
- Good working knowledge of Windows 11.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence in addressing a wide range of IT issues across hardware and software.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, with a love for technology.
Desirable:
- Interest or basic experience in web development.
