Job description
We are working with a growing Audio Visual & IT services company who are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join their team.
This is a hybrid field-based role that requires being commutable to the Chesham head office 1-2 days per week for team meetings, collaboration, and training. You will play a central role in driving new business, nurturing client relationships, and helping to grow the company's presence across the AV and IT sectors.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, commercially minded sales professional who is comfortable managing the full sales cycle, while also taking ownership of lead generation and creative outreach to develop a strong pipeline., Business Development & Sales
- Develop new business opportunities across Audio Visual and IT sectors.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Manage the full sales cycle - from lead generation and prospecting through to proposal, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Maintain regular contact with prospects and existing clients to build long-term business relationships.
- Use Zoho CRM to track leads, opportunities, and sales progress.
Lead Generation & Marketing Initiative
- Take ownership of generating new leads through networking, referrals, direct outreach, and events.
- Develop and deliver professional presentations and proposals to prospects and clients.
- Contribute ideas to creative campaigns, marketing initiatives, and client engagement strategies.
Collaboration & Handover
- Work closely with directors and technical teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery.
- Support internal teams with product knowledge, client requirements, and project planning.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Sales?, * Proven sales experience in AV, IT, or related technology sectors (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Established network of industry contacts is advantageous.
- Confident communicator and negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in generating new business opportunities.
- Comfortable working independently but also collaborating with internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Zoho CRM (preferable)
- Full UK driving license and access to a presentable, reliable vehicle.
- Commutable to Chesham for 1-2 days per week., * Sales experience in AV, IT, or related technology sectors: 2 years (required)

Package & Benefits
- Base Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
- OTE: £55,000 - £65,000 (uncapped commission)
- Car Allowance + mileage reimbursement
