Test Analyst - Data Analytics - Contract

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst on a contract basis (INSIDE IR35) to join our clients Data & Analytics team and ensure the quality and reliability of new data analytics products. The role involves validating data pipelines, datasets, reports, and dashboards within an agile delivery environment. You will develop and execute test plans and collaborate closely with Product Owners, analysts, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in data testing, and excellent communication capabilities. This position requires a detail-oriented tester who can translate complex requirements into robust, repeatable test artefacts., * Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Execute manual tests across data pipelines, datasets, reports, and dashboards
• Validate ETL processes and compare multiple source systems to warehouse/platform data
• Perform BI report testing including dashboards and data outputs
• Translate functional and technical requirements into structured test artefacts
• Create, maintain, and manage test documentation throughout the lifecycle
• Work within an agile squad and participate in sprint ceremonies
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business users to support and assure UAT
• Work with Test Managers and Change teams to support production readiness
• Recommend appropriate testing tools, techniques, and approaches
• Use SQL and Python to query, analyse, and validate data
• Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to automation adoption
