Data Delivery Lead - Contract

We are seeking an experienced Data Delivery Lead on a contract basis (INSIDE IR35) to oversee the successful end-to-end delivery of data and analytics projects across our client's organisation. The role focuses on engaging stakeholders, understanding requirements, coordinating delivery teams, and ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant delivery of data products. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and business users to translate needs into actionable delivery plans and manage risks, timelines, and dependencies. The ideal candidate brings strong project delivery skills within data environments, a solid understanding of SDLC, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. This role requires a proactive, organised leader who can drive clarity, foster collaboration, and champion data delivery excellence., * Lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics projects

• Develop detailed delivery plans including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and quality measures
• Prioritise and plan demand for analytics and insight, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, document, and translate requirements into actionable outcomes
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, change controls, and dependencies throughout the lifecycle
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders on progress, risks, and expectations
• Work with technical and non-technical teams to ensure data products meet documented requirements
• Support quality assurance and testing activities to validate solutions before release
• Promote and apply agile delivery methodologies to enable flexibility and continuous improvement
• Ensure clear SLAs, service definitions, and performance expectations are defined and adhered to
• Support and encourage cross-team collaboration, fostering a positive and high-performing delivery culture
• Act as the primary point of contact for delivery status, impediments, and stakeholder alignment
• Provide delivery leadership across data engineering, analytics, and data ops projects
• Champion data-driven decision making and advocate for analytics capability across the organisation
• Keep abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices in data delivery, analytics, and data ops
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to ensure successful delivery
• Translate technical concepts into clear business language for senior stakeholders
• Align data delivery priorities with business goals and ensure initiatives generate measurable value
• Ensure compliance with governance, change management, and SDLC processes throughout delivery
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing delivery performance and identifying optimisation opportunities
