Job description

Impact Futures Group is looking for an organised and proactive Internal Systems Administrator to join our Operations team!

This is a remote role with occasional travelling for meetings., The Internal Systems Administrator ensures the smooth operation and administration of the organisation's internal digital systems. This includes managing and creating staff accounts, permissions, and access to core platforms such as Microsoft 365 and internal applications. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance with data protection and safeguarding requirements, and enabling staff to work effectively across the apprenticeship provision. The role will involve:

  • Create, configure, and manage staff accounts, permissions, and access across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other internal platforms.
  • Maintain user directories, group permissions, and email distribution lists in line with company policies.
  • Monitor system usage to ensure security, efficiency, and safeguarding compliance.
  • Support GDPR and data protection processes by maintaining accurate system records.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff on system access and account management.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring correct account setup and deactivation.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system administration projects that enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System administration?, * Experience managing and creating user accounts, permissions, or internal systems administration.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and internal IT systems.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work with non-technical staff.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and data protection principles.

Desirable:

  • Experience in an education or apprenticeship environment.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Relevant IT qualification or ongoing professional development.
