Senior Data Scientist

We are working with a data driven entertainment/gambling company, where analytics, experimentation, and automated decision-making sit at the core of every product and business decision.

With full C-suite buy-in to a data-centric culture, this is an environment where Data Scientists genuinely influence strategy, game-economy design, and commercial performance.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll work across player behaviour, game-economy optimisation, and predictive modelling, helping to scale automated decision systems across the organisation. Your work will be highly visible, with frequent opportunities to present directly to senior leadership., * Analyse player behaviour, performance metrics, and game-economy dynamics to identify actionable insights.

• Develop and automate predictive models, including churn, CLV, personalisation, and recommendation systems.
• Influence reward structures, monetisation levers, and game-economy decisions.
• Build clear, commercially grounded narratives for the CEO and C-suite, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate across data science, engineering, product, and commercial teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Improving player retention and engagement using statistical modelling.
• Enhancing automated decision systems across the gaming ecosystem.
• Evaluating reward effectiveness and game-economy balance.
• Driving experimentation and structured multivariate testing across product teams.

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, plus experience working within a cloud environment (GCP preferred).
• Experience working with similar models to those listed above.
• A deep statistical foundation - this is essential due to the complexity of the models and business questions.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to present to executive-level stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance rigour with pragmatism in a fast-moving environment.
