Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect to join a remote-first team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security practices across cloud services, applications, and infrastructure. This role involves working closely with delivery teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring secure solutions that balance risk, cost, and usability., * Design and implement secure cloud services, software, and infrastructure solutions.
- Identify and mitigate security risks in system designs and products.
- Apply and maintain compliance with security standards and regulations (e.g., NCSC, ISO, SoC, NIST, PCI, GDPR).
- Conduct security testing for software and infrastructure using relevant tools.
- Work within Agile teams to embed security practices across the development lifecycle
- Communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in secure design and delivery of cloud services and solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network security, web application security, and cryptography.
- Experience with application architecture, software development, and/or infrastructure architecture.
- Familiarity with Continuous Security, CI/CD practices, and automated security testing.
- Experience managing and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Experience with identity and access management solutions.
- End-to-end security experience, including governance, risk, compliance, and operational security.
- Penetration testing qualifications (e.g., OSCP, CREST, TIGER).
- Experience leading security engineers or junior team members.
