Job description

Solutions Architect with excellent ArcGIS experience is required to support a major utilities provider through a large-scale transformation of their Asset Management systems. This role is central to the delivery of a strategic programme replacing Legacy tools with ArcGIS and IBM Maximo. The Solutions Architect contract is initially for 3 months with a very high chance for extension., * Leading the design of ArcGIS platform enhancements, including feature enablement and integration

  • Producing high-quality design artefacts such as solution blueprints, HLDs, and component specs
  • Acting as technical authority on ArcGIS across implementation and future improvement phases
  • Supporting migration away from Legacy systems, with a focus on decommissioning and optimisation
  • Presenting and reviewing architecture with peers, delivery teams, and business SMEs
  • Advising on capability expansion within ArcGIS post-deployment

They are offering a competitive day rate up to £720/day (Inside IR35), plus remote working, and you only need to go to their office (based in the Southeast) 1 - 2 days a month for meetings. The contract is initially 3 months with a good chance of extension.

Requirements

  • Strong Career Experience with ArcGIS is essential
  • Experienced Solutions Architect across wider enterprise scale settings
  • Demonstrable skills working on Asset Management systems/projects
  • Some exposure to IBM Maximo is desirable
  • You must be happy with 1-2 days a month in the office (Worthing, West Sussex)
