Job description

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our client, delivering multiple Office Fit-Out projects across Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to work on a project as a sole document controller and take control of maintaining the smooth operation and success of their projects.

You will manage 1-3 sites / projects simultaneously, and be required to travel across various sites each week. This is a full time, site based role, with no hybrid or remote working.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Maintain the document control register to ensure all documentation is accessible and up-to-date.
  • Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) efficiently to support project continuity.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent oversight and coordination.
  • Upload risk assessments to the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
  • Prepare Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for project handovers, ensuring all relevant information is accurately compiled and available.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector.
  • Proficient in using various EDMS platforms such as Asite, Aconex, SharePoint, BIW, and 4Project.
  • Strong ability to work independently and support project teams effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently., If you are a skilled Document Controller with experience in the construction sector and a strong ability to work independently, we encourage you to apply.
