Job description

You will act as the firm's internal technical lead, responsible for:

  • Overseeing architecture, development, and enhancement of the PMS and related applications.
  • Managing integrations, workflows, and automations across the business.
  • Ensuring ongoing technical robustness, governance, and improvement of all digital systems.
  • Leading the website and applications, including a job-matching app and a specialised Payroll App for a major client., * Lead PMS architecture, structure, and lifecycle management.
  • Serve as primary technical liaison for the offshore development team.
  • Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and development priorities.
  • Analyse workflows and implement automations using Microsoft 365 tools (Power Automate, SharePoint, Lists, Loop, Teams).
  • Oversee release management, version upgrades, bug fixes, and system documentation.
  • Maintain cloud and application infrastructure, software licensing, and security best practices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design?, * 3+ years' experience in IT roles involving system design, software lifecycle management, or application oversight.

  • Familiarity with PHP, Node.js, React, SQL, or Python (hands-on coding optional but beneficial).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, REST integrations, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Power Automate, SharePoint, Lists, Loop, Teams).
  • Ability to translate operational needs into system specifications.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills.

Desirable

  • Interest in learning basic accounting/bookkeeping concepts to support PMS financial modules (training provided).
  • Experience in small business environments.

We are a specialist accounting and tax advisory practice serving healthcare providers and operators. Established in 2020 and led by our Co-Founder & Director, the firm is developing a proprietary in-house Practice Management Software (PMS) as a strategic commercial offering. Development is currently delivered through an offshore consultancy team.
