Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Financial Services

We are searching for a skilled Senior Cyber Security Engineer to come and join a well-versed, collaborative team of experts that truly want to see each other win and progress. You'll be reporting to a passionate leader within a respected division of the business.

What you will do:

• Act as key contact for audits, IT risk, and governance compliance.
• Manage and support cybersecurity tools and platform incidents.
• Assist incident response, vulnerability scans, and security deployments.
• Identify risks, gaps, and improve processes with mitigation plans.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and serve as EMEA security centre of excellence.

• MUST HAVE strong experience with Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (basic command line, directory navigation, user permissions)
• Networking & Infrastructure: Networking fundamentals, OSI layers, troubleshooting AD, DNS, GPO, routing, and integrated systems.
• Cybersecurity Tools: Varonis (Data Governance), Qualys (Vulnerability Management), SIEM platforms, DLP solutions, PAM tools (CyberArk), Endpoint Protection platforms, EDR tools.
• Scripting & Automation: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible (for task automation and process improvement).
• Security & Compliance Knowledge: Regulatory frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, SAMA; vulnerability management; access control configurations; incident response support.
