Job description

We are looking for a Junior Application Support Analyst to join our team and commitment to providing excellent IT Support across TVS Supply Chain Solutions. As a Junior Application Support Analyst at TVS Supply Chain Solutions you will work as part of our Service Desk & Product Application Support team to provide support across our bespoke application catalogue, this includes our ERP system & web-based applications used by Internal and external customers.

The Junior Application Support Analyst would be expected to triage / replicate and understand application issues being raised, create troubleshooting and resolution documentation for the Service Desk team, work closely with Product and Development teams to further understand, investigate, and resolve Application issues.

This role is based in our Chorley office however we will expect this person to travel to other sites across the UK to engage with our Internal Application users to gather feedback and identify/investigate application issues.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be working as part of the Central Service Desk team in Chorley & the Product Application support team providing Application Support.

· Triage, Replicate and Investigate Application Issues

· Support Web based applications - Including Data fixes and Program updates.

· Raise product issues with product and development teams whilst following the right escalation process according to priority.

· Support the deployment of applications.

· Support the wider IT Service Delivery team with Service transitional and acceptance into Service activities.

· Monitor applications and application alerts, raising and investigating any issues that arise.

· Support the IT Major Incident Manager with any Application Priority 1 or 2 Incidents

· Ability to provide on call / out of hours support.

· Reviewing and identifying any trends in application issues, feeding the trends and data back to the IT Service Management team

· Create and communicate IT Service Desk knowledge articles to support triage, investigation, and resolution at 1st Line.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, · Highly driven and determined individual with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Demonstratable and proven ability to work on own initiative with good organisational skills and self-drive.

· Exceptional customer service skills, with natural aptitude to consider impact to the customer.

· Experience of Supporting, triaging, and investigating Software Applications
