Job description
This role is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of enterprise applications to ensure seamless access, optimal functionality, and efficient process implementation. The Systems Administrator focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining application environments and workflows, working closely with business units and IT teams to deliver user-centric solutions. This role emphasizes application lifecycle management over traditional server or hardware system administration., * Administers and configures enterprise applications, managing user access, roles, permissions, and security settings to ensure compliance and usability.
- Designs, documents, and implements application-related processes and workflows that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into application configurations and enhancements.
- Monitors application performance, troubleshoots issues, and coordinates resolution with vendors or development teams as needed.
- Develops and maintains tools, scripts, or automation solutions to streamline application administration and support activities.
- Oversees application updates, patches, and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provides technical training, support, and consultation to end-users and cross-functional teams on application capabilities and best practices.
- Participates in application governance and compliance audits, documenting controls, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required
- 2+ years of related experience, required.
- 5 + years of related experience, preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise application administration, access management, and configuration best practices.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in process design, workflow automation, and application lifecycle management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective partnerships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities geared toward troubleshooting application issues and optimizing user workflows.
- Experienced with Okta Administration, Okta Workflows, Jira Administration, Jira Automation, Jira Form Design, Active Directory, and AD Group Management.
- Proficient in managing competing priorities and adapting to evolving business needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
- Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
