Job description
We're currently looking for a Technical Administrator to join our Infrastructure Delivery team. You'll provide support to the Midlands regional project delivery team in respect of technical administration, document control and managing information in our systems., * Manage the storage of data and documentation within the designated repository, eg Sharepoint, on behalf of Project Managers. This will include minutes, drawings, records and closures.
- Support Project Managers by tracking and chasing documents internally/externally and supporting any related governance approvals.
- Produce, collate and coordinate project and team performance data from Team Hubs and Project Reviews.
- Support Project Managers with outage bookings, by populating and uploading information into the project management system.
- Perform the technical secretary role for allocated forums/meetings in the region including action monitoring and follow up to achieve satisfactory completion.
- Establish and manage a drawing package tracker across projects.
- Coordinate lessons learnt input, and collate potential improvements identified through the development, delivery and closure of projects. Undertake periodic reviews with key stakeholders, identifying appropriate action owners.
- Organise team events including logistics (booking arrangements), meeting material and supporting Senior Project Manager with preparation and facilitation.
- Support the Management Team with team communications and admin.
- Support with onboarding new team members.
This role is based at our office in the East Midlands for 2-3 days per week, with the opportunity to combine with home working in line with our hybrid working policy.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, We're looking for someone who is proactive and self-driven, with good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
You'll be proficient in using and administering Business Systems, and have experience in document management, including administration of online Collaborative Project Management systems (eg. SharePoint, or similar).
With the ability to use desktop software packages to coordinate and present management information in numerical, graphical and written formats, you'll be able to generate reports and interrogate data (e.g. Pivot tables).
Knowledge of the Electricity Transmission System would be an advantage but is not essential.
