Job description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fully remote role within the UK, offering an excellent opportunity for both early-career professionals and experienced developers to contribute to dynamic data projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making., * Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
- Develop robust data models, including relationships, DAX calculations, and performance-optimized structures.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources using Power Query or other tools.
- Ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability of datasets used for reporting.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of BI solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to enhance data strategy and reporting capabilities.
- Support ongoing improvements, documentation, and best practices for BI development.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Proven experience with Power BI (desktop, service, and mobile).
- Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Power Query (M language) and data transformation.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database) or other cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of R or Python for advanced analytics.
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).
- Experience designing enterprise-level BI solutions.
- Understanding of DevOps or version control tools (e.g., Git).
