Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fully remote role within the UK, offering an excellent opportunity for both early-career professionals and experienced developers to contribute to dynamic data projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making., * Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
Develop robust data models, including relationships, DAX calculations, and performance-optimized structures.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources using Power Query or other tools.
Ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability of datasets used for reporting.
Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of BI solutions.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to enhance data strategy and reporting capabilities.
Support ongoing improvements, documentation, and best practices for BI development.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Proven experience with Power BI (desktop, service, and mobile).

Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
Hands-on experience with Power Query (M language) and data transformation.
Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
Ability to understand business processes and translate them into analytical solutions.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database) or other cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of R or Python for advanced analytics.
Exposure to data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).
Experience designing enterprise-level BI solutions.
Understanding of DevOps or version control tools (e.g., Git).
