Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fully remote role within the UK, offering an excellent opportunity for both early-career professionals and experienced developers to contribute to dynamic data projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making., * Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
  • Develop robust data models, including relationships, DAX calculations, and performance-optimized structures.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources using Power Query or other tools.
  • Ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability of datasets used for reporting.
  • Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to enhance data strategy and reporting capabilities.
  • Support ongoing improvements, documentation, and best practices for BI development.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Proven experience with Power BI (desktop, service, and mobile).

  • Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Query (M language) and data transformation.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database) or other cloud data platforms.
  • Knowledge of R or Python for advanced analytics.
  • Exposure to data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).
  • Experience designing enterprise-level BI solutions.
  • Understanding of DevOps or version control tools (e.g., Git).

Pay: £30,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
