Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Power BI Developer to join our data and analytics team. This role is open to candidates across all experience levels-from entry-level professionals to experienced developers. You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights by designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making across the organization., * Develop, test, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations

Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders to deliver tailored BI solutions
Model, transform, and optimize datasets using Power Query, DAX, and data modeling best practices
Maintain and improve existing Power BI solutions and ensure data accuracy and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Analysts, and business users
Ensure dashboards align with business goals, data governance standards, and UX principles
Troubleshoot data issues, performance bottlenecks, and report inconsistencies
Support adoption of BI tools and contribute to overall analytics maturity

Requirements

Do you have experience in UX?, * Hands-on experience with Power BI (reports, dashboards, DAX, Power Query)

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with large datasets
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
Good understanding of data visualization best practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Experience with Azure services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.)
Knowledge of ETL processes or data integration tools
Exposure to Python, R, or other analytics languages
Familiarity with Power BI administration and workspace management
Understanding of Agile methodology
Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Looker)
Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
