Job description

Erewash Borough Council is on the lookout for a proactive and driven Technical and Administrative Support Officer to join our multifunctional administration team. You'll play a key role in ensuring a wide range of specialised and general administrative support duties are carried out to meet the needs of our diverse service areas.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our busy team, primarily based at our Town Hall in Long Eaton, you'll deliver high-quality technical and administrative support across a variety of service areas. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing responsive administrative support to multiple departments across different services
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries with professionalism, care and courtesy
  • Using IT systems (especially Microsoft Office) to manage and process information
  • Inputting and analysing data to support effective decision-making
  • Liaising with colleagues, partners, and the public to keep services running smoothly

Requirements
