Working closely with the EUS Tower Lead and Team Leads, you'll support the full lifecycle of end user hardware - from stock management and device builds to equipment provisioning and coordinating onsite service requests.
You'll help maintain the accuracy of the Stock Management Tool/database, ensure all hardware movements follow correct processes, and deliver a professional and positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
This role is fully onsite in Barrow-in-Furness, and requires a full UK driving licence., * Build, rebuild and configure devices to meet end-user needs
- Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory reporting
- Manage deliveries into Stores and follow hardware disposal/allocation procedures
- Provision and set up equipment for users
- Coordinate IMAC requests from initiation through to completion
- Uphold a high standard of customer service, even under pressure
Requirements
Are you a detail-focused, hands-on IT support professional who enjoys working directly with users and keeping technology running smoothly? This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative End User Services team where you'll play a key role in device build, stock management, and coordinating IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities from start to finish., Preferred experience:
- Background in inventory management, desktop support, or software/application installation
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and working to defined SLAs
- Basic understanding of server infrastructure and networking
- Good knowledge of desktop environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- High attention to detail
Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires Security Check (SC) clearance.
To be eligible, you must have:
- Lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years
- Met all other SC vetting requirements
Some positions may require sole UK nationality.
