Distributed Compute Engineer - Fixed Term Contract / High Performance SystemsWe're hiring a number of Distributed Compute Engineers to lead the design and operation of advanced compute clusters powering next generation AI and quantum inspired workloads.

This work supports model compression technology capable of reducing LLM size by up to 95 percent and lowering inference costs by 50 to 80 percent.The team is supported by significant global backing and European initiatives and is building infrastructure that makes AI deployment faster, more efficient, and widely accessible.This contract runs until the end of June **** on a hybrid model and includes a competitive package with signing and retention bonuses.In this role you will:Architect, build, and maintain distributed compute clusters across varied hardwareOwn hardware integration and support deployment workflows end to endAutomate cluster operations including provisioning, monitoring, and upgradesEnsure performance, reliability, and security across all compute environmentsMentor engineers in cluster management and systems integrationWork closely with software and hardware teams to deliver cohesive solutionsWhat you'll need:Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer EngineeringExperience designing, deploying, or operating distributed compute clustersStrong understanding of computer architecture and hardware to software interactionLinux administration experience plus scripting skills in Python or BashAbility to collaborate across engineering disciplines and adapt to new challengesIf you're looking for a role at the intersection of hardware, distributed systems, and advanced AI workloads, we'd be happy to share more.In accordance with local employment laws, applicants must have current, valid authorisation to work in Spain at the time of application.
