Job description
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team in a full-time permanent remote role. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience building and customizing ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support business processes. You will play a key role in enhancing platform capabilities, maintaining existing implementations, and delivering high-quality, scalable ServiceNow solutions., * Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules based on business requirements.
- Build and maintain workflows, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, script includes, and client scripts.
- Develop custom applications, integrations, and automation solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and design effective solutions.
- Maintain platform health, ensure upgrade readiness, and resolve issues proactively.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, MID servers, and integration tools.
- Collaborate with architects, admins, QA teams, and business users in an agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and architectural discussions.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standards.
Requirements
Do you have experience in ServiceNow?, * 3-12 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong experience with core ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Incident, Change, Problem, etc.).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, server- and client-side scripting).
- Experience building workflows, flow designer automation, and service catalog items.
- Understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and platform architecture.
- Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and data imports.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative remote environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- ServiceNow certifications such as:
- CSA (Certified System Administrator)
- CAD (Certified Application Developer)
- CIS in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, etc.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB enhancements.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Experience with IntegrationHub, HRSD, SecOps, or custom app development.
- Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
- Experience managing upgrades, patching, and platform governance.
- Must have eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
