Job description
- Lead the technology strategy for CIIoM and Bermuda markets, ensuring alignment with HSBC's global architecture and transformation roadmap whilst delivering large-scale transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and digital platform modernisation.
- Drive Ai innovation, with a focus on engineering automation, GitHub, Copilot AI Assistant integration, and emerging Agentic AI capabilities.
- Redesign and optimise reporting and control frameworks, partnering with the first and second line of defence to strengthen operational efficiency and data transparency.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor to CIIoM and Bermuda OpCo, influencing strategic priorities and investment decisions in addition to Mentor and lead cross- functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with CIB and IWPB value streams, ensuring connectivity, consistency, and shared innovation across markets and champion a data-driven culture suing insights to guide decision-making and performance improvement.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System design?, * Strategic leader with deep knowledge of financial services and the global marketplace whilst being a subject matter expert for CIOM and Bermuda markets, with broad understanding of CIB and IWPB.
- Proven record of delivering digital transformation within complex regulatory environments with a comprehensive understanding of technology strategy, systems design, and modern engineering practices and hands-on experience with emerging technologies such as AI, Copilot, and Agentic AI.
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking, creativity, and innovation in solving complex strategic problems with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to influence across all levels.
- Brings cross-functional experience with a clear understanding of regional and global business interdependencies and proven success managing large-scale transformation programmes regionally and globally.
- Expertise in implementing future-state architecture and driving technology modernisation
