Job description
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Repairs Administration Assistant to join our busy office team. This role involves managing a high volume of calls, coordinating reactive repairs, supporting gas compliance scheduling, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Experience within the social housing sector is essential., * Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from tenants, contractors, and housing providers.
- Log, schedule, and track reactive repairs through our CRM system.
- Coordinate gas servicing, safety checks, and compliance appointments, ensuring legal requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel, including updating spreadsheets and generating reports.
- Prioritise and assign work orders to engineers and contractors.
- Communicate appointment details and updates to tenants and housing officers.
- Monitor job progress to ensure timely completion and escalate issues when required.
- Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and email management.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a helpful and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure targets and KPIs are met.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Previous experience in social housing repairs, maintenance coordination, or gas compliance administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheets).
- Confident user of CRM systems.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
