As a Customer Solutions Design Specialist at BT, your primary role is to design and deliver solutions tailored to the needs of our external customers, specializing in network, voice, or contact centre solutions. Collaborating within a global team, you'll lead medium to large designs and may even take on the role of a design lead, influencing our future direction. Emphasising customer-centricity, you'll promote our offerings and ensure solutions align with customer needs. We encourage continuous growth, empowering you to suggest new opportunities, challenge processes, and drive technological advancements. As a valued team player, you'll foster open communication, share knowledge, and collaborate effectively to achieve outstanding results.
What you'll be doing
- Leading design projects, review all components and deliver the overall design.
- Possess expert knowledge of overall design.
- Contribute to technical discussions, guiding others and improving design principles.
- Share design principles with senior levels, shaping future direction, potentially transitioning to a customer-facing role.
Requirements
- Able to design and/or assure solution involving multiple BT products plus 3rd party products in unfamiliar technologies.
- Experience with Design & Implementation of Cisco WAN / LAN.
- Experience with CCNP R&S, Wireless and Firewalls.
- Experience with leading commercial discussions across the business and resolve commercial problems across all stages of the customer journey.
