Big Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Big Data Analyst to join our remote data team in the UK. This role is ideal for candidates at all experience levels-from fresh graduates to experienced data professionals. You will work with large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the business., * Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources using big data tools and platforms.

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Support data modeling and data pipeline processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical outputs.
• Validate data accuracy, perform data quality checks, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization based on large-scale data analysis.
• (For experienced candidates) Assist in building automated data workflows and supporting advanced analytics or machine learning initiatives.

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
• Understanding of big data concepts and data processing workflows.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets.
• Experience working with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Databricks, Kafka.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, NiFi, or similar).
• Familiarity with ETL development and data engineering concepts.
• Understanding of statistical analysis or machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation for data tasks.
• Must have legal eligibility to work in the UK (Valid Visa).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
