Job description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Big Data Analyst to join our remote data team in the UK. This role is ideal for candidates at all experience levels-from fresh graduates to experienced data professionals. You will work with large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the business., * Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources using big data tools and platforms.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Support data modeling and data pipeline processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical outputs.
- Validate data accuracy, perform data quality checks, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization based on large-scale data analysis.
- (For experienced candidates) Assist in building automated data workflows and supporting advanced analytics or machine learning initiatives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
- Understanding of big data concepts and data processing workflows.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets.
- Experience working with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Databricks, Kafka.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, NiFi, or similar).
- Familiarity with ETL development and data engineering concepts.
- Understanding of statistical analysis or machine learning techniques.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation for data tasks.
- Must have legal eligibility to work in the UK (Valid Visa).
