Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our remote analytics and product team. In this role, you will leverage data-driven techniques to build predictive models, uncover insights, and guide strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful analytical solutions that drive business outcomes., * Develop and deploy machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and statistical analyses
- Work with large, complex datasets to extract insights and identify trends
- Build data pipelines and collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability
- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and actionable solutions
- Communicate insights through dashboards, visualizations, and reports
- Experiment with new modeling techniques, tools, and technologies
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and present findings
- Optimize existing models for scalability, performance, and accuracy
- Document methodologies, processes, and technical solutions
Requirements
- 3-12 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow a plus)
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data modeling
- Experience with SQL and working with relational or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Plotly)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow)
- Knowledge of NLP, time-series forecasting, or deep learning
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Experience deploying models into production environments
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimental design
- Domain experience (finance, e-commerce, healthcare, telecom, etc.)
