Job description
We're recruiting for an immediately available Interim Data Analyst to support a finance team through an intensive rate review period. This short-term assignment requires someone who can hit the ground running, handle large datasets, and deliver fast, accurate insights.
You'll be working closely with the team to analyse historical transport data, compare pricing structures, and calculate customer rate changes. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone with strong Excel capability and a methodical approach.
Key Responsibilities Extracting and manipulating large datasets from an internal Transport Management System Applying new rate tables to historical data using advanced Excel lookups Calculating percentage changes and producing clear comparison outputs Cleansing, transforming, and validating datasets Supporting the finance team with accurate and timely analysis (Optional) Running basic SQL queries for data extraction, We have specialists in corporate finance, private equity, audit, treasury, risk, business transformation and not-for-profit. Requirements
Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivots, formulas, modelling) Strong background in data analysis within commercial, operational or finance environments Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal hand-holding Comfortable working on-site within a busy team Immediate availability Experience with logistics/TMS data is beneficial but not required Basic SQL an advantage, We're well connected to businesses of all sizes, supplying candidates into important, permanent, part-time or temporary professional service positions.
