Job description
We're now looking for two IT Project Managers to join our global IT team.
- One role will focus on end-to-end project management, leading medium to large-scale initiatives.
- The second role will focus on portfolio delivery, ensuring visibility, alignment, and momentum across our global project landscape.
Both positions are 12-month maternity covers, offering the chance to make a real impact on strategic initiatives across WSA.
The Team
You will be part of the Global IT Programs & Projects team, responsible for leading strategic and business-critical IT initiatives across WSA. We work closely with business functions, external partners, and global/local stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions that enable growth, efficiency, and innovation.
What you will do
As an IT Project Manager, you will lead medium to large-scale IT projects globally, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with global and local stakeholders to define project mission, scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Leading cross-functional project teams and collaborating with external vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Managing the full project lifecycle, with a strong focus on deployment and delivery excellence.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring transparency and communication across stakeholders.
- Leading Steering Committee meetings with senior stakeholders and providing clear, data-driven updates on project progress.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships across regions and functions to support alignment and successful execution.
- Ensuring proper documentation of project artifacts and adherence to internal processes and standards.
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project, ensuring that teams stay aligned, motivated, and focused on outcomes.
Requirements
We imagine that you hold a university degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, and bring 8-11 years of relevant project management experience in an international environment.
Experience
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects - IT background will be an advantage.
- Solid track record working with global teams and external vendors.
- Experience with business transformation projects is an advantage.
- Strong capability to manage scope, resources, timelines, risks, and budget.
- Technical certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
