Job description
We are recruiting an HR Systems Administrator to support the ongoing management, maintenance and development of a cloud-based HR system. Reporting to the HR Systems Manager, this role provides first-line support, troubleshooting, testing, user training and system improvements across all HR modules.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Oracle HCM experience who enjoys problem solving, supporting users and contributing to ongoing enhancement projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as first-line support for HR system queries through the helpdesk
- Responding to tickets, providing accurate information and escalating where required
- Troubleshooting technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Supporting testing cycles for new functionality, patches and upgrades across all system modules
- Assisting with bulk data uploads and ensuring accuracy of changes
- Creating and maintaining training materials, process maps and user documentation
- Delivering training sessions and refresher workshops to HR and business users
- Keeping documentation up to date and supporting change activities
- Providing insights and feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Making minor system configuration changes where appropriate
- Contributing to system data retention and compliance activities
- Producing ad-hoc reports for HR and business stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience with HR systems, ideally Oracle Cloud HCM or Oracle Fusion HCM
- Ability to write and execute test scripts, support UAT and report on outcomes
- Experience creating reports within Oracle HCM
- Strong Excel skills and good proficiency across MS Office
- Experience providing first-line support for system queries
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly to users
- Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve issues efficiently
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and work both independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of GDPR
- Knowledge of HR processes is desirable but not essential
- Experience using Visio is an advantage
