You will play a key role in supporting the One Click Currency programme - a strategic initiative designed to simplify and accelerate currency transactions across global markets.

This position offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems in a highly regulated environment, ensuring stability, security, and performance of Unix-based platforms that underpin banking operations worldwide., * Administer and maintain Unix/Linux systems across multiple environments.

  • Implement and manage system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Support the One Click Currency programme by ensuring robust infrastructure and seamless integration with banking applications.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to meet global banking standards.
  • Automate operational tasks using shell scripting and other tools.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Unix/Linux Administrator in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar distributions.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Korn) and automation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, change management, and incident resolution.
  • Experience with high-availability systems, clustering, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a regulated financial environment.
