We are seeking a person with experience in developing mobile applications for iOS and Android, preferably with knowledge of wearable integration, push notifications, and cloud services. Job position: Mobile Developer for the Research Project Click2Move-Nudge: Determinants of sedentary behaviour in teleworking and evaluation of a personalized digital solution to reduce sedentarism and improve well-being at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences of Central Catalonia (IRIS-CC). One-year full-time contract linked to funding received for the execution of the project (PID2024-162994OA-I00), within a Knowledge Generation R&D project funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. We are looking for a mobile developer passionate about technology and motivated to join an innovative team. The selected candidate will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications for iOS and Android, integrating advanced functionalities such as push notifications, compatibility with wearable devices, and cloud-based services. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain native or hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android. * Implement push notification systems (Firebase, APNs, etc.). * Integrate functionalities with wearable devices (Apple Watch, Wear OS). * Design scalable cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, Firebase). * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (UX/UI, backend, QA). * Participate in technical definition and code review. * Ensure code quality and scalability. Requirements * Basic knowledge of Swift/Kotlin or frameworks such as Flutter/React Native. * Previous experience (academic or professional) with push notifications. * Familiarity with cloud services and REST APIs. * Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. * Experience with Flutter or React Native. * Knowledge of mobile security. * Experience with services such as Firebase, AWS Amplify, Azure Mobile Apps. * Participation in open-source projects or published apps.
