Job description
As an Application Specialist within the Digital Operations Center (DOC), you play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our digital products, such as Lely Horizon. Together with your (international) colleagues, you are responsible for solving complex technical issues while safeguarding the continuity and security of our digital solutions.
In this third-line support role, you work closely with colleagues from Product Development, regional offices, and other internal stakeholders. Your focus lies in analyzing, improving, and coordinating application-related issues, as well as structurally enhancing our services.

Your main responsibilities:
- Provide third-line support for questions, incidents, and bugs related to digital products such as Lely Horizon.
- Gather data, analyze complex issues, and formulate structural solutions together with stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues from Product Development, Support, and Operations to implement improvements.
- Contribute to the development of structural monitoring and optimization processes.
- Ensure clear documentation of analyses, solutions, and improvement proposals.
- Visit Lely offices to strengthen cooperation with international colleagues.
Requirements
You enjoy working in an environment where innovation and collaboration are at the core. You don't need to be a deep technical expert, but you do understand how applications are built and how systems such as SQL and Azure function. You are proactive, easily connect with various stakeholders, and gain energy from solving both technical and organizational challenges., * Higher professional education (HBO) level, with an IT/technical background (through studies or work experience).
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an IT environment, preferably with digital platforms or application management.
- Knowledge of database principles (such as SQL) and cloud environments (such as Azure).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Lean is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to participate in the 24/7 hotline after internal training (1 day every 9 days).
- Living within commuting distance of the Lely Campus and willing to be on-site at least 3 days per week.
