Do you have experience in Virtualization?, MK Recruit is delighted to be supporting our client a niche manufacturer in North Lanarkshire who are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and maintain IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include system setup, network administration, hardware repairs, software support, and IT security implementation.
Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of network hardware, firewalls, patch management, backups, and Cyber Essentials+ certification is essential. Experience with virtualisation, Linux, and Microsoft Server support is desirable.
Must be proactive, a strong problem solver, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Some out-of-hours work may be required., * Manufacturing or Industrial: 1 year (preferred)
