Job description

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, deploying, and managing cutting-edge cloud solutions that power our AI applications within our Healthcare IT International Commercial Data & AI organization. Your strategic architectural expertise will be complemented by hands-on engineering tasks, ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of AWS-based systems. As a thought leader in AWS architecture and engineering, you will drive innovation and optimize our cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance. You will collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver robust cloud solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices. You will define technical requirements for various cloud-based solutions, including data pipelines and system integrations, while providing guidance to Data Scientists and GenAI Developers., * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives

  • Design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures for AI applications. Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation.
  • Oversee internal and external implementation teams, ensuring best practices are followed. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI developers and engineering teams
  • Conduct security assessments and manage account budgets to maintain compliance and optimize resource usage
  • Drive cost optimization strategies and performance improvements across cloud infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices

Core Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and engineering, with hands-on project experience
  • 3+ years of in-depth knowledge of AWS architecture and data warehousing concepts

Technical Expertise

  • Infrastructure & Security Architecture: Design secure, scalable AWS architectures (VPCs, networking, IAM), multi-account strategies, and healthcare compliance implementation with encryption/KMS
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation: 3+ years with CloudFormation/Terraform, CI/CD pipelines for AI applications, container orchestration (Docker, EKS), and API Gateway configuration
  • AWS Core Services: Proficiency with S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, and cost optimization strategies including budget management and performance tuning
  • ML/GenAI Integration: Experience with AWS ML services, SageMaker, optimizing AI/ML workloads for scalability and performance
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: CloudWatch metrics/logging, autoscaling, load balancing, and debugging CI/CD pipeline issues
  • Security & Compliance: Healthcare industry data security requirements, regulatory standards adherence, automated compliance checks, and secure API implementations.
