Job description
As a Service Consultant IT, you are part of our IT & Remote Services organization and play a key role in designing tailored intralogistics IT service solutions for our customers. You will lead the entire IT offer process and advise customers on how to best leverage our IT services to reach their business goals.
You identify with the following responsibilities:
- You lead the full IT quotation process: from requirements analysis to preparing and coordinating high-quality IT service proposals in close collaboration with commercial stakeholders within the Warehousing domain.
- You take ownership of the solution quality, including the calculated service efforts and technical feasibility.
- You manage customer expectations and guide them toward acceptance of the proposed IT service solution.
- You independently resolve complex inquiries and questions from customers and internal stakeholders.
- You handle multiple service requests simultaneously while keeping a clear overview and prioritizing effectively.
- You advise customers proactively on the optimal use of IT service products, based on their requirements and operational goals.
- You build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their IT needs and support them in achieving their business objectives.
- You conduct thorough needs assessments to identify customer requirements and improvement opportunities in their operations.
- Together with subject-matter experts, you develop tailored IT solutions that align with customer needs and contribute to long-term business success.
- You take responsibility for IT life-cycle planning of IT services and components, designing solutions that ensure system availability and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- A completed degree in Computer Science, Intralogistics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
- Several years of professional experience in an intralogistics environment, e.g., IT logistics management, intralogistics, or automated systems.
- Strong English communication skills. German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to approx. 30% due to international project activities.
- A confident, communicative, and persuasive personality with strong analytical skills, quick perception, and a highly proactive, results-driven mindset.
Benefits & conditions
This position offers a competitive salary range of €5400 to €6100 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance), depending on your knowledge and experience. Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
